Daman writes, “Since his father wanted him to become a doctor, he (Manmohan Singh) enrolled in a two-year F.Sc. program, which would have given him the opportunity to pursue further medical studies. He dropped out after a few months. Granted, he had lost interest in becoming a doctor. In fact, he had also lost interest in studying science.
